Main Switchboard (MSB)
We offer main and emergency switchboards with Power Management System for commercial, private and military ships conforming to class requirements. For military ships the design meet the military standards in addition to the class requirement. Our solutions are customized to cater the needs of the customer such as space constraints, dynamic positioning integration, draw out modules for ease of maintenance etc
Our design is highly versatile Multi-cubicle, front and/or rear access, self-supporting, and dead-front type design with IP rating of IP23 to IP44.
Emergency Switchboards
The emergency switchboard designed such that in the event of the main generator failure the Emergency Generator will automatically start up and within a maximum of 45 seconds of full black out the Emergency switchboard will be powered up.
Emergency switchboard is designed to meet all classification authority and flag requirement.
Motor Control Center
Motor control center is designed as wall mounted or free standing type with the same material as that of the MSB or Emergency switch board.
They are constructed totally enclosed with necessary IP rating as prescribed by the specification, cubicle type construction and conforming to IP 23 to 56 rating.
All ship board standard motors loads will be centrally controlled form the MCC with individual motor circuit protection and control circuit protection.
Alarm and Monitoring System
ASA Marine engineering team design and supply class approved integrated monitoring, alarm and control systems as per the specification requirement. We will also provide on-board installation, termination, testing and commissioning services.
Our integrated monitoring, alarm and control systems based on the latest state of art technology. The PLC/ CPU Units comes with master and slave options and associated I/O. The system can be interfaced to monitor all ships performance parameters in the wheelhouse. All ASA Marine supplied alarm monitoring system are approved by the respective marine classification society to meet either AMS or UMS standard.
AC and DC Distribution Boards
ASA marine fabricate AC distribution boards (for LV and MV range) depends on the power generation and distribution system.
Low voltage DC distribution will also be fabricated and supplied based on the client specification and class requirements.
Enclosures will be IP rated as per the class requirement.
